The SCCM North Central Chapter is a multiprofessional organization composed of critical care practitioners, whose purpose is to foster collaboration amongst caregivers at a regional level for the enhancement of patient care. Members of the chapter include physicians, nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, physician assistants and other healthcare professionals.

The North Central Chapter's mission is to provide its members with educational opportunities, professional resources and a chance for networking with other critical care professionals to improve the quality of critical care. The North Central Chapter is composed of the following states: Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Next Meeting: 

The North Central Chapter of the Society of Critical Care Medicine will have an educational symposia and business meeting in conjunction with the University of Minnesota Center for Excellence in Critical Care Update 2007 on September 6 and 7, 2007. The business meeting for the Chapter will occur on September 6 at 6 p.m. following the first day of the symposium at the Doubletree Hotel Minneapolis Park Place, 1500 Park Place Boulevard, in St. Louis Park, MN, just outside downtown Minneapolis. Rooms at the hotel are available for $109.00 per night if reserved before August 12. Details of the program will be mailed to Chapter members and posted on the the Center for Excellence in Critical Care Website (www.cecc.umn.edu).
